Coi Leray braids are jumbo knotless box braids with curly ends. This hairstyle has been around for some years now but it has been recently made popular by the rapper Coi Leray, who is known for wearing short jumbo knotless braids with curly ends.
This hairstyle is fairly easy to do and a lot of people have added their own spin on it to make it even more gorgeous and chic.
How to do coi leray braids
What you’ll need
For the kanekalon braiding hair, you can use 3 to 5 packs depending on how big you want the braids to be and how many sections you want. Also, I usually prefer the pre-stretched hair since that saves you time.

Instructions
Just like any hair braid style, the very first thing to do is to wash and condition your hair. So wash, condition, and moisturize your hair. This will make your hair clean and help prevent itchy scalp.
Using a rat-tail comb, divide your hair into the desired number of sections. It could be in the form of squares or triangles. Depending on what you want to do.
Take one section of the hair, comb it through, and apply a conditioning gel to it for extra hold. This will help prevent flyaways once the section is braided. Now, part it into three and start braiding like you would do box braids, adding braiding hair a few inches down at a time till you reach your desired length.
Leave some unbraided hair at the tip and secure it with a rubber band, to prevent it from coming undone. Now move on to the next section till you are done with all the sections.
Curl the unbraided hair around a perm rod, then carefully dip it in hot water and pat it dry. Make a mousse application on your hair. Then use edge control to lay your edges the way you want them, and your coi leray braids are done.
