Often your mental state may suffer simply because you are not letting things out. Keeping things bottled up again works against you in the long run. 

All you have to do is make sure that you find a way to express your feelings. Many people do this through creative outlets such as drawing and painting but if you can’t do all of those things then journaling is something that just about anyone can try.

Pouring your feelings out on a page every day is a cathartic way to express yourself and it also improves your mental state as well.
